What an inspection report means for your next decision

What an inspection report means for your next decision

Read the report as a roadmap, not a verdict

Every home, even a well-maintained one, will have items on an inspection report. Most are minor. The report is a tool for understanding the condition of the home and deciding what to address.

I will walk through the report with you and help you separate the items that matter from the noise.

Know what to negotiate

Major issues, like roof, foundation, HVAC, electrical, or plumbing problems, are worth addressing in the negotiation. Minor items are often better left alone to keep the deal moving.

I will give you an honest recommendation on what is worth asking for and what is not, so you negotiate from a position of knowledge.

Decide what is a deal-breaker

Rarely, an inspection reveals a problem serious enough that the home is not the right fit. When that happens, I will help you understand your options, including the possibility of walking away or renegotiating.

Either way, you will make the decision with clear information and a plan.
